Things you'll need:
- Red Felt
- White Felt
- Green Felt
- Black Felt
- Scissors
- Fiberfill
- Needle and thread
Step by Step
Cut felt as shown above. You can vary the size as you like.
I use 3-cm-diameter circle from a sheet of red felt and a 4-cm-diameter circle from white felt. Cut a 2 1/2-cm-wide and 5 1/2-cm-long a sheet of green felt for the watermelon rind.
Overlap the red and white felts together. Sew the seeds in place.
Fold the red-white felt. Hold up the folded side down and flatten the folded side slightly. Place the green strip along the rounded side of the half-circle.
Sew the green felt to the white felt using a whip stitch and green thread. Stuff it with fiberfill, stretching and padding the felt until it resembles a watermelon slice. Sew the rest.
Tada .... It's done..!!
